Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a Gilcée print and a normal print?
A ‘normal’ print is printed using an inkjet print using the four-colour method; cyan, magenta, yellow and black to create tiny dots to build the image.
A Giclée print uses a larger collection of ink colours to achieve a better colour accuracy. They are also printed on specialist papers which do not degrade or yellow so that they maintain their colour and crisp detail.
